Raptors aim to avoid 15th straight road loss
Nov 28, 2006 - 3:05 PM Toronto (4-9) at New Orleans (8-6) 8:00 pm ESTOKLAHOMA CITY (Ticker) - The Toronto Raptors look to avoid their 15th consecutive road loss when they visit the New Orleans Hornets on Tuesday.
The Raptors are a solid 4-2 this season at home but are 0-7 on the road.
Toronto is coming off a 92-83 home win over the Indiana Pacers on Sunday in which it outscored the Pacers, 32-17, in the first quarter and never looked back.
Chris Bosh led the Raptors with 17 points while No. 1 overall pick Andrea Bargnani added 14. Toronto shot 46 percent from the field while holding the Pacers to 37 percent.
The Hornets have lost three straight games and try to rebound from a 85-73 setback to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
New Orleans played without Peja Stojakovic, who is suffering from a lower back strain, and David West, who missed his seventh straight game with a forearm injury.
Jannero Pargo led the Hornets with 19 points while Chris Paul added 12.
