Magic aim for five straight vs. Pacers

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic are quietly asserting themselves among the Eastern Conference elite.

They will look to further their case and push their winning streak to five when they face the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

The Magic boast a potent starting lineup, with all five players averaging at least 13.7 points per game, and have superstar Dwight Howard manning the middle.

Orlando has been equally adept at winning both on the road and at home, recently ripping off a sweep of a three-game road trip before coming home and extending its streak to four games.

Jameer Nelson, Hedo Turkoglu and Rashard Lewis scored 22 points apiece on Tuesday in a 103-90 win over the Toronto Raptors while Mickael Pietrus - the other member of the Magic's starting five - missed the game with bruised ribs. He is expected to play against the Pacers.

Indiana is coming off a 113-96 win over Atlanta Hawks on Tuesday, led by Danny Granger's 34 points on 13-of-18 shooting.

Granger paces the team and ranks sixth in the NBA in scoring at 24.3 points per game.
