Lakers eye fourth straight win

Nov 23, 2008 - 8:08 AM Sacramento (5-9) at LA Lakers (10-1), 9:30 p.m. EST

LOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- After a minor bump in the road, the Los Angeles Lakers have resumed their dominance in the Western Conference.

Los Angeles goes for its fourth straight win when it hosts the Sacramento Kings on Sunday.

The Lakers have rebounded from their only loss with three straight wins, including Friday's 104-90 victory over the Denver Nuggets. Kobe Bryant scored 29 points against Denver.

Los Angeles is 9-0 against the West, while no other team in the conference has less than five losses.

Sacramento has lost four of five, including Friday's 117-96 setback to Portland.

Rookie Jason Thompson had 19 points and 12 rebounds for the Kings, who are still without leading scorer Kevin Martin. The 25-year-old has missed the last seven contests with a sprained left ankle.

The Lakers won three of the four meetings last season.
