Sixers look to take advantage of lowly Bobcats

Nov 24, 2008 - 3:22 PM Philadelphia (7-6) at Charlotte (3-9) 7:00 p.m. EST

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Philadelphia 76ers showed some heart on Sunday. Whether they can carry that over remains to be seen.

The Sixers will be look to push their winning streak to three when they face the lowly Charlotte Bobcats on Monday.

Philadelphia squandered an 18-point halftime lead against the Golden State Warriors on Sunday but recovered for the win. After the Warriors came back to tie it at 76-76 with 6:31 remaining, the Sixers went on a surge of their own to cruise to the win.

Andre Miller had seven points in the final five minutes and Elton Brand scored 23 points to lead the way for Philadelphia, which has won four of five to climb back over .500.

The Sixers have had their struggles on the road, however, going 2-4 away from home.

The Bobcats have lost four straight, failing to score above 85 points in any of the setbacks.

They reached a low on Saturday when they suffered a 79-74 loss at home against the Milwaukee Bucks. Charlotte scored a combined 31 points between the second and third quarters.

Former first-round pick Adam Morrison finished with zero points on 0-of-6 shooting in 21 minutes.
