Raptors look to end home futility vs. Bobcats

Nov 26, 2008 - 11:24 AM Charlotte (4-9) at Toronto (6-7) 7:00 p.m. EST

TORONTO (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors have been struggling at home. A visit for the Charlotte Bobcats should be the tonic for those ills.

The Raptors look to end a two-game slide at Air Canada Centre when they host the Bobcats on Wednesday.

Toronto has lost four of its last five contests at home since a 112-108 victory against Golden State on October 31, falling to 2-4 there. The Raptors have also lost each of their last two games overall, including a 118-103 setback to the defending champion Boston Celtics on Sunday.

Chris Bosh scored 24 points against the Celtics to lead Toronto, which has lost seven of its last 10 games following a 3-0 start.

Bosh and the Raptors aim to rebound against Charlotte, which has yet to earn a victory in three road games but has certainly come close.

After enduring a 17-point loss on the road to the Cleveland Cavaliers in the season opener, the Bobcats dropped a three-point decision to the New York Knicks in their next contest away from home on November 5.

Charlotte fell short once again on Friday, suffering an 88-83 setback against the Atlanta Hawks, but are coming off a 93-84 victory against the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday.
