James, Cavaliers take on reeling Thunder

Nov 26, 2008 - 11:22 AM Oklahoma City (1-14) at Cleveland (11-3) 7:00 p.m. EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers return home Wednesday to host the NBA's worst team after dealing with the circus-like atmosphere of Madison Square Garden.

The Cavaliers look to stay perfect at home when they take on the Oklahoma City Thunder.

The New York Knicks, who are freeing up salary cap space to make a run at James when he becomes a free-agent in 2010, saw first hand what the superstar is capable of Tuesday.

James scored 26 points as seven players scored in double figures to lead Cleveland to a 119-101 win over New York. Zydrunas Ilgauskas recorded a double-double with 11 points and 10 rebounds as the Cavaliers jumped out to a 77-38 halftime lead.

Cleveland is 7-0 at home and has won 11 of 12 overall.

Oklahoma City has found ways to lose during its 12-game losing streak, and Tuesday's loss to Phoenix was no different.

The Thunder led by 11 to start the fourth quarter, but a 3-pointer with 25 seconds left by Matt Barnes put the Suns ahead, 99-98. After a pair of missed jumpers by Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook, Oklahoma City was unable to foul before time expired.

The one-point loss snapped a stretch of seven straight double-digit losses, but left the Thunder still searching for their first win since an 88-85 victory over Minnesota on November 2.

Durant led five players in double figures with 29 points while Earl Watson dished out a season-high 13 points.
