Williams, Jazz play host to struggling Kings

Nov 28, 2008 - 11:23 AM Sacramento (5-12) at Utah (10-6), 9:00pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- Deron Williams and the Utah Jazz look to carry momentum from their best performance of the season Friday when they host the struggling Sacramento Kings.

The Jazz received the spark they needed in their last game, as Williams returned to the lineup after missing nearly the entire season - and the result was the most crisp and explosive performance Utah has put up.

Williams collected 11 points and 15 assists in just 29 minutes as the Jazz cruised to a 117-100 victory Wednesday over the Memphis Grizzlies.

Paul Millsap scored 24 points and grabbed 16 rebounds while Mehmet Okur added 21 points and 10 boards for the Jazz, who bounced back nicely from Monday's 101-100 loss to Chicago - their first home loss of the season.

The Kings will look to rebound from Wednesday's 116-114 overtime loss to the New Jersey Nets.

Devin Harris' turnaround jumper with 12 seconds left in the extra frame provided the winning margin for New Jersey, which held on after squandering a 17-point lead.

John Salmons scored 38 points to pace Sacramento, which still is without leading scorer Kevin Martin.

Martin has been nursing a sprained right ankle that has kept him sidelined for the last 10 games.
