Spurs go for fourth straight win

Nov 28, 2008 - 11:24 AM Memphis (4-11) at San Antonio (8-6), 8:30 pm EST

SAN ANTONIO (Ticker) -- The San Antonio Spurs seem to have righted the ship.

San Antonio looks to win its fourth straight game when it hosts the Memphis Grizzlies on Friday.

After starting 0-3 for the first time since 1973-74, the Spurs have won six of their last seven and are starting to get healthier.

Manu Ginobili, who missed the first 13 games with an ankle injury, made his season debut Monday in a 94-81 triumph at Memphis.

Two days later, Ginobili scored 15 points in 18 minutes off the bench in the Spurs' 98-88 victory over the Chicago Bulls.

Tim Duncan had 21 points in the win for San Antonio, which has won its past three games by an average of 16 points.

Memphis aims to end a four-game losing streak after dropping a 117-100 decision at Utah on Wednesday.

Rudy Gay scored 27 points to lead the Grizzlies, who are 1-7 on the road.

San Antonio has won 10 of the past 12 meetings with Memphis.
