NBA Same Game Parlay Odds, Picks & Predictions: Sunday (12/4)

Dec 4, 2022 - 1:34 PM

About half of the league will have action in the NBA, and there are some good ones.

The 14-8 Nuggets will take on the 14-8 Pelicans. Meanwhile, the Celtics and Nets will meet at the Barclays Center. Most games will start a little earlier. So get those bets in before you sit on the couch watching the NFL.

Here are a couple of same-game parlays to consider for today’s NBA slate.

Detroit Pistons vs. Memphis Grizzlies

The Pistons might be 6-16, but with Jaden Ivey back, Detroit’s in better hands. Ivey returned to the lineup against Dallas and ultimately helped the Pistons escape the Mavericks with a 131-125 overtime victory. Ivey took 15 shots in 35 minutes with seven three-point attempts.

He finished with 16 points despite shooting 40% from the field. He’s averaged 42% from the field this season and has shot 31.6% from deep. Those aren’t great numbers, but he shot below his average and scored 18 points against the Mavericks.

Ivey also had six assists in that game. He’s added at least four or more assists in six of his last seven games. Look for him to distribute the ball more than he did to begin the season. He’s way more comfortable in the league now.

Finally, Bojan Bogdanovic leads the team in scoring. Not assists. He’s instead averaged 2.5 assists per game this season. But because he played over 40 minutes against the Mavericks, he added four assists in that game. He’s only hit four or more assists in 26% of games this season. Plus, it’s infrequent for Bogdanovic to add back-to-back four-assist games.

Cleveland Cavaliers vs. New York Knicks

The Knicks have struggled at home this season. Yesterday, they were booed off the floor in a home loss to the Mavericks, 121-100.

During the offseason, there was much talk about the Knicks pursuing Donovan Mitchell. The Knicks didn’t bite, but the Cavaliers did. Now the Cavs are 15-8, while the Knicks are on the outside looking in.

Mitchell is about to go off. He’s averaged 28.7 points per game and has hit 28 or more in 71% of games this season. There’s nothing like showing off in the Garden.

Meanwhile, Darius Garland has only averaged eight assists per game. His line is at 9.5, meaning he’d have to earn ten assists in this game. He’s only had nine or more assists in 29% of games this year and is coming off a game in which he had six.

Lastly, Evan Mobley’s rebound line is high at 11.5. He’s only had 12 or more rebounds in 30% of games this season. The Knicks are poor on the glass, but I’ll take my chances on his Under, knowing he rarely gets to 13.

Parlay Odds: +509
