Warriors look to build off huge win
Nov 29, 2006 - 4:28 PM Indiana (8-7) at Golden State (9-6) 10:30 pm ESTOAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors look to build off a huge win and get their third straight victory at the same time when they host the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
The Warriors defeated the San Antonio Spurs, 111-102, on Monday to hand the Spurs a rare home loss. San Antonio entered with seven straight road wins to open the season.
Jason Richardson scored a season-high 26 points to pace the Warriors while Mike Dunleavy added 20 points and five assists off the bench. Matt Barnes added 13 points with seven rebounds and six assists.
The Pacers played in their second game of a six-game road trip and downed the Portland Trail Blazers on 105-97 on Tuesday.
Danny Granger led the Pacers with 21 points while Jermaine O'Neal added 20. Indiana shot 52 percent from the floor while holding the Portland to only 29 percent shooting.
