Final
Status uncertain for Warriors' Jackson, Maggette
Dec 10, 2008 - 11:36 AM Milwaukee (9-14) at Golden State (6-15) 10:30 p.m. ESTOAKLAND, California (Ticker) -- The Golden State Warriors managed to end their nine-game losing streak without two of their top scorers. Forging back-to-back wins without Steven Jackson and Corey Maggette may prove much more difficult.
The Warriors may be without Jackson and Maggette again on Wednesday when the team hosts the Milwaukee Bucks.
After dropping nine straight games following its only set of consecutive victories, Golden State finally snapped its slide with a 112-102 victory on Monday against the lowly Oklahoma City Thunder, who dropped to an NBA-worst 2-20 with the loss.
Jamal Crawford had 19 points and six assists while Andris Biedrins contributed 17 points and 21 rebounds. Jackson, the team's leading scorer at 20.1 points per game, missed the contest with a sprained left hand while Maggette, who is averaging 19.1 points, was forced to sit out with a strained right hamstring.
It is not yet known whether Jackson and Maggette will return against the Bucks, who are looking to end their three-game Western Conference road trip with a win after suffering a pair of losses.
Following a 13-point loss to the Los Angeles Lakers on Sunday, Milwaukee endured a 125-110 setback against the Phoenix Suns on Tuesday.
Charlie Villanueva led the way for the Bucks, scoring 24 points on 9-of-15 shooting off the bench. Michael Redd added 23 points, Richard Jefferson had 22 and Andrew Bogut registered 15 and 11 rebounds.
