Grizzlies hope to snap skid

Dec 26, 2008 - 11:22 AM Indiana (10-18) at Memphis (9-19), 8:00 p.m. EST

MEMPHIS, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Following a season-high winning streak, the Memphis Grizzlies have gone back in the opposite direction.

Memphis will try to snap a four-game losing streak when it hosts the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

The Grizzlies had won four straight contests but have struggled to build on that success.

Hakim Warrick scored 17 points off the bench and Rudy Gay added 16 as Memphis dropped a 100-82 decision to the Dallas Mavericks on Tuesday - its 12th double-digit setback of the season.

Indiana is coming off a tough 108-107 defeat to the New Jersey Nets on Tuesday. Danny Granger had put the Pacers in front with 10 seconds left before Devin Harris hit the game-winner as time expired.

Granger has averaged 24.4 points to lead Indiana, which split the season series with Memphis last season.
