Bobcats look to take down second straight East power

Jan 7, 2009 - 11:38 AM Charlotte (13-22) at Cleveland (27-6) 7:00 p.m. EST

CLEVELAND (Ticker) -- The schedule-makers are doing the Charlotte Bobcats no favors this week, but they have yet to complain.

The Bobcats will be looking for their second win in as many days over a first-place team when they visit the Cleveland Cavaliers on Wednesday.

Charlotte needed overtime on Tuesday but managed to add to the recent road woes of the defending champion Boston Celtics with a 114-106 triumph. Raymond Felton led the way with 25 points and rookie D.J. Augustin scored 11 of his 20 in overtime to spur the Bobcats to victory.

The 116-point outburst marked Charlotte's second-highest point total of the season. The Bobcats rank last in the NBA in scoring at 91.8 points per game.

But the Cavaliers could prove to be an even tougher test, especially at Quicken Loans Arena.

Cleveland is the lone remaining undefeated team at home, compiling a 17-0 record.

The Cavaliers will have extra motivation after falling to the lowly Washington Wizards on Sunday. LeBron James collected 30 points and 10 assists in the game but was whistled for traveling with 2.3 seconds left while attempting to drive for the winning basket.

James has scored 22 and 25 points in two games against the Bobcats this season, with Cleveland winning both by an average of 18.5 points.
