McGrady, Rockets aim for fifth straight home win

Dec 2, 2006 - 5:21 PM Cleveland (10-6) at Houston (10-5) 8:30 pm EST

HOUSTON (Ticker) -- The Houston Rockets have turned things around at home this season and would like to keep it that way.

The Rockets aim to extended their home winning streak to five straight game when superstar LeBron James and the Cleveland Cavaliers come calling on Saturday.

Houston has gotten off to a 6-1 start here this season after finishing with a league-worst 15-26 showing a year ago. It has not won five consecutive home matchups since the 2004 campaign.

Tracy McGrady had 23 points and seven rebounds and Yao Ming battled through foul trouble for 18 points as the Rockets had their four-game winning streak stopped with a 102-91 loss at Phoenix.

On Friday, James had 31 points, eight rebounds and three steals to lead four players in double figures as Cleveland snapped their three-game slide with a 106-95 victory over the Atlanta Hawks.

James has scored 30 or more points in his last three road games and is averaging 34.2 points in his pervious two outings against the Rockets.

Houston has won five of six in the series.
