Boozer, Jazz hope to rebound vs. SuperSonics

Dec 2, 2006 - 5:30 PM Seattle (7-10) at Utah (13-4) 9:00 pm EST

SALT LAKE CITY (Ticker) -- The light for the Utah Jazz might be starting to fade just a little bit.

The Jazz will try and bounce back from their lackluster performance when they welcome in the Seattle SuperSonics on Saturday.

On Thursday, Carlos Boozer had 26 points and seven rebounds and Deron Williams chipped in 13 points and nine assists as the Jazz suffered a 132-103 thrashing at the hands Kobe Bryant and the Lakers.

Despite being tied with Orlando for the best record in the league, Utah has dropped three of its last four games.

Jazz coach Jerry Sloan was named Western Conference Coach of the Month, guiding his club to an impressive 8-1 mark here. He is just three wins away from registering his 1,000 of his career.

Luke Ridnour made a floater in the lane as the buzzer sounded to help lift Seattle to a thrilling 105-103 victory over the Indiana Pacers on Friday.

Nick Collison scored a career-high 21 points and Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis each poured in 18 for the Sonics, who snapped a three-game slide with Friday's win.
