Raptors in a good spot to record rare road win

Dec 2, 2006 - 5:50 PM Toronto (6-10) at New York (6-12) 8:00 pm EST

NEW YORK (Ticker) -- The Toronto Raptors have not had much success on the road this season. They are in the perfect place to turn that around on Saturday.

The Raptors shoot for just their second road win in 10 games when they visit the New York Knicks.

Toronto got off to a 2-8 start this season, but has won four of its last six. The Raptors are coming off a 106-102 victory over the Boston Celtics on Friday.

Chris Bosh scored 25 points and had 11 rebounds and T.J. Ford had 10 points and added 13 assists against the Celtics.

The Raptors shot a season-high 55.3 percent Friday, only the second time this season they've eclipsed the 50 percent from the field this season.

New York is in the midst of a three-game losing streak at the Madison Square Garden and is only 1-6 at home this season.

Eddy Curry scored 24 points and Jamal Crawford had 18 in the Knicks' 108-100 loss at Detroit on Friday.
