Pacers look to continue home success against Raptors

Jan 16, 2009 - 11:35 AM Toronto (16-24) at Indiana (14-25) 7:00 p.m. EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers are happy to be home.

The Pacers look to move back to .500 at Conseco Fieldhouse when they host the struggling Toronto Raptors on Friday.

Indiana dropped to 6-16 on the road this season after completing a 1-4 Western Conference road trip, which concluded with three straight losses.

Upon returning home, where the Pacers are 8-9 this campaign, the team outlasted the Detroit Pistons, forging a 110-106 overtime victory.

Troy Murphy hit a pair of 3-pointers in overtime and T.J. Ford got a fortuitous bounce on a clutch jumper in the final minute as the Pacers survived.

Danny Granger finished with 24 points and 10 rebounds, Ford scored 23 and Murphy added 18 and 13 boards for the Pacers, who had lost their four previous overtime games this season - all at home.

Winning its third straight game at home should be little trouble for Indiana against the Raptors, who have lost four of their last five road contests and are coming off a 102-98 setback to the Chicago Bulls on Wednesday.

Chris Bosh had 25 points and a chance to win the game on Toronto's last possession, but his shot attempt was blocked by Joakim Noah with five seconds left.
