Redd, Bucks look to extend Clippers' woes
Jan 17, 2009 - 11:23 AM Milwaukee (20-22) at LA Clippers (8-30), 10:30 p.m. ESTLOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- After the night Michael Redd had on Friday, the Milwaukee Bucks' shooting guard must be anxious to get back out there against the lowly Los Angeles Clippers.
The Bucks look to hand the Clippers their 13th consecutive loss when the teams meet on Saturday.
Redd is coming off a game in which he torched the Sacramento Kings for 44 points as the Bucks held on for a 129-122 victory. The former All-Star, who did not score in the fourth quarter, shot 16-of-26 from the floor, including 6-of-9 from the arc.
Charlie Villanueva added 25 points and 12 rebounds in the win for the Bucks, who dealt the Clippers the first loss of their current losing streak, 119-85, on December 20.
Los Angeles has not played since a 97-80 setback to Atlanta on Wednesday.
Al Thornton scored 25 points and Marcus Camby added 12 and 18 rebounds for the Clippers, who matched a season-low with 12 points in the first quarter.
