Without Redd, Bucks try to end Pacers home success

Jan 28, 2009 - 11:25 AM Milwaukee (22-26) at Indiana (17-28) 7:00 p.m. EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- The Indiana Pacers' home winning streak and the absence of their best player likely spells disaster for the Milwaukee Bucks.

The Bucks try to end the Pacers' five-game surge at Conseco Fieldhouse on Wednesday when they continue life without Michael Redd.

Milwaukee managed to forge a 106-104 victory over the Sacramento Kings on Saturday, but lost Redd for the rest of the season in the process after the team's leading scorer tore the anterior cruciate and medial collateral ligaments in his left knee.

Without the 29-year-old guard in the lineup on Monday, the Bucks dropped a 90-83 decision to the Minnesota Timberwolves, hitting only 1-of-14 3-pointers.

Starting in place of Redd, Ramon Sessions led Milwaukee with 18 points and aims to duplicate that performance against the Pacers, who have been unstoppable at home of late.

However, Indiana is coming off an embarrassing 135-111 loss to the Orlando Magic on Tuesday.

Danny Granger was kept in check all night, as the Magic's suffocating defense held Indiana's star to just 10 points while shooting only 4-of-14 from the field.
