Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook
Evan Mobley OVER 9.5 Rebounds (-104)
The Cavaliers are playing inconsistently at the moment and haven’t won back-to-back games in over a month.
This roster has depth, and they’re always tough on defense, but don’t have many dependable offensive options besides Donovan Mitchell.
They will be facing an average Pacers team on the second leg of a back-to-back. Indiana struggles on the boards and is allowing the fourth most rebounds this season.
Although this total is set over Mobley’s season average, the Pacers allow the fifth-most rebounds to power forwards over the last seven games. Secondly, he’s seen an uptick in rebounds by grabbing ten or more in three of his last five games.
D’Angelo Russell OVER 20.5 Points (-115)
The expectations were high for the Timberwolves, but they have underachieved. Last year’s best-scoring offense has moved to the middle of the pack and the team hangs around .500
They have a tough challenge against the top-seeded Nuggets, who have won seven of their last ten. The offense is where they shine, but are an average defensive.
Denver is great against outside shooting, but that’s not Russell’s game. He likes to drive to the lane, taking 64.1% of his field goals within five feet, and Denver is 27th in opponent rim field goal percentage. Russell should get plenty of opportunities and get some trips to the line.
Pascal Siakam OVER 32.5 Points/Rebounds (-113)
It hasn’t been that long since the Raptors won it all, but that championship pedigree is no longer there. Many of that team’s key pieces moved on and now they sit under .500.
They could put the Grizzlies on upset watch with Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson questionable and Dillion Brooks serving his suspension.
Siakam has been the team’s best playmaker leading them in points in rebounds. In the last game against Memphis, he finished with a team-high 25 points and ten rebounds.
Betting Pros Props Analyzer is giving this at 66% cover probability and a +26% expected value. I’m trusting the numbers and history for Siakam to have a great game.
