Bulls finally return home for meeting with Pistons

Feb 10, 2009 - 3:17 PM Detroit (27-22) at Chicago (22-29) 8:30 p.m. EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- A meeting with the Chicago Bulls couldn't have come at a better time for Rodney Stuckey.

The Detroit Pistons' point guard tries to get back on track when his team travels to the United Center for a meeting with the Bulls on Tuesday.

Stuckey has worked his way into the starting lineup this season and has flourished as the Pistons' floor general, averaging 13.6 points and 5.0 assists per game.

However, the 22-year-old Eastern Washington product has been held below 10 points in three of his last four games, including Sunday's 107-97 setback to the Phoenix Suns in which he was limited to eight points and only one assist.

Stuckey can put his recent slump in the past if he can duplicate his last performance against Chicago when he erupted for 40 points during a 104-98 victory on December 23.

Another outburst from Stuckey would certainly end Detroit's four-game losing streak at the United Center and lift the team to its third win in four contests overall.

The Bulls are looking to rebound when they return home after closing their season high tying, seven-game road trip with a 4-3 record following a 115-114 overtime loss to the Dallas Mavericks on Saturday.
