Bulls host Sixers in second meeting of season

Dec 6, 2006 - 5:15 PM Philadelphia (5-11) at Chicago (8-9) 9:00 pm EST

CHICAGO (Ticker) -- The Chicago Bulls attempt to give the Philadelphia 76ers a taste of their own medicine Wednesday.

On November 24, the 76ers handed the Bulls their sixth straight loss, a 123-108 setback. On Wednesday, Chicago - which has won five games in a row - can extend Philadelphia's losing streak to a season-worst five straight contests.

In the third game of a season-high eight-game homestand, the Bulls posted a 100-82 victory over the Boston Celtics on Monday. Andres Nocioni scored 20 points and Luol Deng added 14.

Kirk Hinrich finished with 11 points and three steals for Chicago, which jumped out to a 28-14 advantage after the first quarter.

Allen Iverson netted 26 points and handed out seven assists, but the Sixers failed to match a decisive run by the Minnesota Timberwolves, resulting in a 95-84 shortcoming Sunday.

Samuel Dalembert had 15 points, nine rebounds and three blocks for Philadelphia, which shot just 39 percent (30-of-77).

The Bulls have not lost since their meeting with the Sixers.
