High-scoring Warriors visit Clippers
Feb 23, 2009 - 2:46 PM Golden State (20-36) at LA Clippers (13-43) 10:30 p.m. ESTLOS ANGELES (Ticker) -- The high-scoring Golden State Warriors will look to take advantage of the defensively challenged Los Angeles Clippers when the Pacific Division rivals meet Monday.
Golden State ranks second in the NBA in points per game at 108.2 and has bumped that up to 123.8 while winning four of its last five games.
The Warriors are coming off Saturday's 133-120 triumph over the Oklahoma City Thunder. Stephen Jackson led seven players in double figures with 26 points and paces the Warriors at 20.7 points per game.
Los Angeles has dropped three in a row and is allowing 130.5 points over its last four contests.
The Clippers will look to bounce back from Sunday's 116-87 loss at Portland. Rookie Eric Gordon scored 21 points to pace Los Angeles.
The Clippers have yet to win a game this season against a Pacific Division opponent, including two losses to Golden State.
