High-scoring Pacers prepare to meet Grizzlies

Feb 25, 2009 - 11:28 AM Memphis (15-41) at Indiana (24-35) 7:00 p.m. EST

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Beset by injuries, the Indiana Pacers keep finding more ways to score.

The Pacers will be looking for their third win in the last four games when they face the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday.

With No. 2 scorer Mike Dunleavy possibly out for the year with persistent knee pain and top scorer Danny Granger out for the next week or two with a torn tendon in his right foot, Indiana has been leaning hard on players such as Troy Murphy and Jarrett Jack.

Murphy has recorded a double-double in each of the last four games, including 19 points and a season-high 21 boards in a 123-119 loss at New York on Monday. Jack added 33 points against the Knicks.

The Pacers are averaging nearly 110 points in three games since Granger was injured and reached 119 against New York without No. 3 scorer T.J. Ford (flu) as well.

The Grizzlies have lost five in a row and are coming off a 94-79 loss at Cleveland on Tuesday. No Memphis player managed more than 13 points as the club shot 42 percent (34-of-81) from the floor.

The Grizzlies won the first meeting between the teams, 108-105, on December 26.
