Cavaliers continue road trip at Hawks

Mar 1, 2009 - 7:44 AM Cleveland (45-12) at Atlanta (33-25), 8:00 p.m. EST

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The Cleveland Cavaliers seek their second straight win when they visit the Atlanta Hawks on Sunday.

Cleveland opened a four-game road trip with an ugly 93-74 setback at Houston before rebounding to defeat San Antonio, 97-86, on Friday.

LeBron James had 30 points and 14 rebounds in the win, one game after failing to record an assist for the first time in his career.

"That's the beauty of the NBA," James said. "You can play as bad as you have ever played one night, and the NBA schedule allows you to make up for it the next night. That's what we did."

Atlanta snapped a three-game losing streak with a 91-83 triumph over Miami on Friday.

Joe Johnson scored 24 points and Al Horford had 21 and a career-high 22 rebounds for the Hawks, who are 20-6 at home this season.

The teams have split the first two meetings with Atlanta winning on its home floor, 97-92, on December 13. That win prevented Cleveland from winning its franchise record 12th straight game.
