Mar 9, 2009 - 1:29 PM New Orleans (39-22) at Atlanta (35-28), 7:00 p.m. EDT

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- The New Orleans Hornets aim for their eighth straight win when they visit the Atlanta Hawks on Monday.

Since Tyson Chandler returned from a left ankle injury on February 23, the Hornets have gone 7-0 after defeating Oklahoma City, 108-90, on Saturday. New Orleans had attempted to trade Chandler to Memphis before the Grizzlies reneged on the deal when Chandler failed a physical.

Chris Paul had 21 points and 13 assists and Julian Wright scored a career-high 20 in the win.

The Hawks are coming off an 87-83 victory over Detroit on Saturday.

Josh Smith had 19 points and 12 rebounds to lead five players in double figures for the Hawks. Al Horford added 18 and 12.

The contest is the first of a four-game road trip for New Orleans.
