Bucks look to keep up defense against Knicks

Mar 10, 2009 - 1:38 PM New York (25-37) at Milwaukee (30-36) 8:00 p.m. EST

MILWAUKEE (Ticker) -- The Milwaukee Bucks will look to sweep the season series from the New York Knicks Tuesday when the teams meet at the Bradley Center.

New York is averaging an Eastern Conference-best 106.0 points per game, though they have had trouble scoring against Milwaukee this season. The Bucks have limited the Knicks to 84.6 points in three wins this season.

Milwaukee snapped a three-game losing streak with a 127-120 win over Golden State Saturday. Richard Jefferson scored 35 points and six other players had double figures in the win.

The Knicks have lost five of six as they fall out of playoff contention in the East despite scoring 100 or more points in each of their last 23 games.

David Lee collected 19 points, 14 rebounds and seven assists in a 106-101 loss at New Jersey on Sunday. He has a double-double in 47 of his last 51 games.
