Billups, Pistons aim for third straight win

INDIANAPOLIS (Ticker) -- Chauncey Billups and the Detroit Pistons have been impressive in the first two games of their four-game road trip.

Billups and the Pistons continue their trek looking for their third straight road victory when they tangle with the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.

Detroit scored an impressive 87-83 win over the Orlando Magic, the top team in the Eastern Conference, on Friday. Billups led the Pistons with 31 points while Richard Hamilton had 13 points and 10 rebounds.

The Pistons defeated the Dallas Mavericks on the road, 92-82, on Thursday.

The Pacers look to snap a two-game losing streak after a 106-91 loss at Chicago on Monday. Indiana has also lost five of its last seven.

Indiana was shorthanded, as starters Jermaine O'Neal, Al Harrington and Stephen Jackson all missed the game. O'Neal and Harrington were injured while Jackson was suspended for the game for disciplinary reasons.

Jamaal Tinsley and Danny Granger each scored 21 points for the Pacers. The game against Detroit is the first of three straight home games for Indiana.
