Magic take on Bobcats without injured Grant Hill

Dec 14, 2006 - 2:50 PM Orlando (15-9) at Charlotte (5-16) 7:00 pm EST

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina (Ticker) -- The Orlando Magic haven't faced much adversity this season, but will be without Grant Hill when they travel to Charlotte to take on the Bobcats.

In Orlando's 91-84 loss against the Toronto Raptors on Wednesday, Hill left the contest with left knee tendinitis, which limited him to 17 minutes. He will miss Thursday's game against the Bobcats.

"He's not playing," Orlando coach Brian Hill said of Hill's status for Thursday.

Carlos Arroyo scored 23 points and Dwight Howard added 17 points and 13 rebounds for Orlando, which has lost two straight road games, and four of five overall.

The Bobcats come off a 104-101 road loss to Cleveland. Rookie Adam Morrison scored 16 points and Sean May added 15 points and 13 rebounds for Charlotte, which has lost four straight games.

Morrison broke out of a 4-of-34 shooting skid over his last four games, with a 7-of-17 shooting performance against the Cavaliers.

The Magic beat the Bobcats on November 18 in Orlando as Howard tallied 24 points and 21 rebounds and Grant Hill scored 15 points for the Magic, who held the Bobcats to 40 percent (31-of-78) shooting while blocking seven shots.
