Wallace, Bulls roll into Atlanta to face the Hawks

ATLANTA (Ticker) -- It took a while, but Ben Wallace has imposed his will on the Chicago Bulls.

Wallace lead the Bulls into Atlanta on Saturday.

A four-time defensive player of he year in his first season with the Bulls, Wallace came up one rebound short of his career high in Chicago's 117-111 victory over Milwaukee on Friday.

Wallace grabbed 27 rebounds and scored 10 points to go with a season-high six assists, three steals and three blocks for the Bulls, who have won three straight and 11 of their last 12 games.

Kirk Hinrich had 21 points and Chris Duhon added 19 point - all in the second half for the Bulls, who converted 35-of-41 free throws vs. the Bucks.

The Bulls are 11-3 against the Eastern Conference but just 2-3 on the road in those contests.

Atlanta snapped a four-game losing streak, defeating the Memphis Grizzlies 97-88 on Friday. Speedy Claxton scored a season-high 19 points and dished out 11 assists and Josh Smith added 16, 10 rebounds and five blocks for the Hawks, who shot 54 percent (38-of-71) from the field.

The Hawks won despite the absence of leading scorer Joe Johnson, who missed his fourth straight game with a calf injury.

The Bulls have won seven straight vs. the Hawks including four in a row in Atlanta.
