Pistons eye fourth straight win over Sonics

Dec 17, 2006 - 3:46 PM Seattle (10-14) at Detroit (14-8) 6:00 pm EST

AUBURN HILLS, Michigan (Ticker) -- The Detroit Pistons try to record their fourth consecutive victory over the Seattle SuperSonics on Sunday.

The Pistons concluded their four-game road trip with a 3-1 mark despite Rasheed Wallace missing the game due to a sore right ankle. Chauncey Billups collected 27 points and 11 assists and Richard Hamilton followed with 26 points as Detroit posted a 90-82 victory over New Jersey on Saturday.

Wallace is expected to miss Sunday's game as well.

The Sonics are running the risk of falling to 0-4 on their five-game road trip. They have dropped their last four contests away from home, including a 106-84 fall to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Friday.

Chris Wilcox scored 20 points and rookie Mickael Gelabale added 16 for Seattle, which shot just 37 percent (31-of-85) overall. Rashard Lewis made 3-of-12 attempts, finishing with 10 points.

Sonics guard Ray Allen will not be in action Sunday due to a bone bruise in his right foot.
