New Mexico State cruises past Seattle to win WAC
Mar 15, 2015 - 6:07 AM Las Vegas, NV (SportsNetwork.com) - New Mexico State has owned the WAC conference since joining the league in 2006.Add another tournament title to the list.
Tshilidzi Nephawe had 18 points and 10 rebounds as the Aggies routed Seattle 80-61 to win their fourth straight WAC Tournament crown.
Remi Barry netted 21 points for the Aggies (23-10), who have a 22-4 record at the WAC tournament and have claimed five of the last six titles.
William Powell posted 14 points and eight boards for the third-seeded Redhawks (16-15).
New Mexico State was never threatened, leading 33-22 at the break and cruising to the easy win over the final 20 minutes.

The top seed has won the WAC Tournament four times since NM State joined the conference ... New Mexico State went 13-1 in the conference this season ... The Aggies were 30-of-40 from the foul line.
