Dec 27, 2006 - 4:52 PM Gardner-Webb (2-8) at No. 4 Wisconsin (12-1) 8:00 pm EST

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- With its Big Ten schedule looming, Wisconsin has been hitting on all cylinders.

The fourth-ranked Badgers shoot for their ninth consecutive victory and 13th straight at home Wednesday when they host Gardner-Webb.

Off to its best start since 1998-1999, Wisconsin has trailed for just 10 minutes, 42 seconds in its last eight contests and has won 82-of-87 home games under coach Bo Ryan.

Kammron Taylor scored 17 points and Alando Tucker added 15 for the Badgers, who scored 20 of the first 24 points in Saturday's 83-47 triumph over Pacific.

Gardner-Webb opened the campaign with five straight losses and has dropped three of its last four, including last Tuesday's 92-60 defeat against Wake Forest.

Ricky McPhee scored 12 points to lead five players in double figures. Takayo Siddle and Thomas Sanders added 11 each and Jake Sims and Chris Gash 10 apiece for the Runnin' Bulldogs.

This will be the first-ever meeting between the two schools.
