Tyler Hansbrough had 15 points and 13 rebounds and Ty Lawson contributed 12 points, eight rebounds and eight assists as North Carolina posted a 69-48 triumph at St. Louis on Friday.
The Tar Heels are undefeated in six games here, winning by more than 30 points per game.
Marquis Webb scored 14 points and Jaron Griffin added 13 and six rebounds as Rutgers extended its winning streak to five games with a 67-61 victory over Lehigh on Saturday.
Rutgers is facing a ranked opponent for the first time this season. North Carolina has won seven straight matchups in the series.
