Jan 6, 2007 - 3:32 PM No. 22 Notre Dame (13-1) at Georgetown (10-3) 12:00 pm EST

WASHINGTON (Ticker) -- Red-Hot Notre Dame is rolling along and hasn't shown any sign of slowing down.

The 22nd-ranked Fighting Irish will put their impressive 12-game winning streak on the line when they pay a visit to Georgetown on Saturday.

Russell Carter scored 19 points and freshman Tory Jackson chipped in 15 en route to a 78-62 victory over Louisville in Notre Dame's Big East Conference opener on Wednesday.

The Fighting Irish are off to their best start under Mike Brey, who looks to guide the program to 13 consecutive wins for the first time since 1953-54.

Junior Roy Hibbert scored 14 points and Jonathan Wallace added 12 as the Hoyas captured their sixth straight win with a 61-51 triumph at Michigan last Saturday.

Georgetown has the 10th-ranked scoring defense in country - 55.0 points per game - while its offense ranks No. 7 nationally in field-goal percentage at 51.2.

The Hoyas have won their last four conference openers and lead the all-time series against the Irish, 11-10.
