Jan 6, 2007 - 3:58 PM UNLV (14-2) at No. 16 Air Force (14-1) 3:30 pm EST

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (Ticker) -- Air Force is moving full steam ahead, and so is UNLV. Something will have to give.

The 16th-ranked Falcons and Runnin' Rebels are both riding a 10-game undefeated streak as they matchup in a Mountain West Conference battle on Saturday.

Dan Nwaelele scored 22 points to lead four starters in double figures for the Falcons in Wednesday's 81-75 double-overtime victory over Colorado State in their WAC opener.

Air Force is tied for the best start in school history through 15 games and has never started a season 15-1.

The Falcons also would like to protect their 23-game home winning streak, which is tied with BYU for third longest in the country.

In its conference opener, UNLV held on for a 97-94 double-overtime triumph over Utah on Wednesday as Kevin Kruger scored a season-best 24 points.

The Falcons won the last two meetings, including a 68-55 win here on January 26, 2006. However, UNLV leads the all-time series, 17-6.
