COLLEGE PARK, Maryland (Ticker) -- Since dropping its Atlantic Coast Conference opener, Maryland has not lost since.

The 25th-ranked Terrapins seek their sixth consecutive win Wednesday when they host Miami in an ACC contest.

Maryland lost its ACC opener, 73-62, to Boston College on December 10, but rattled off five straight wins since. The Terps defeated Iona, 88-57, in their final tuneup before facing the Hurricanes.

In the win over Iona, D.J. Strawberry led the Terps with 20 points while Ekene Ibekwe and James Gist each finished with 11 points.

The Hurricanes have struggled of late, losing four of their last five games. Miami, 1-1 in ACC action, dropped a 59-58 decision to Wake Forest on Saturday.

Jack McClinton led the Hurricanes with 13 points while Anthony Harris finished with 12. McClinton, who is averaging 19.3 points per game, has been in a scoring slump of late, averaging just 12 points in his last three contests.
