Jan 14, 2007 - 4:06 PM No. 11 Duke (13-3) at Miami Fl (9-8) 5:30 pm EST

CORAL GABLES, Florida (Ticker) -- Duke has not gotten off to this bad of a start in the Atlantic Coast Conference in over a decade.

The 11th-ranked Blue Devils aim for their first conference win of the season Sunday when they visit Miami in an ACC contest.

Duke (13-3, 0-2 ACC) has dropped its first two conference games for the first time since opening with four straight ACC losses in 1995-96. The Blue Devils have not dropped three straight games at any point since closing the 1995-96 campaign with three losses.

Duke looked lost in Wednesday's 74-63 defeat at Georgia Tech on Wednesday.

Jon Scheyer scored 16 points and Josh McRoberts added 12 and five rebounds for the Blue Devils, who attempted a season-low 11 free throws. DeMarcus Nelson, the team's leading scorer (14.8), scored 12 points but missed all five of his 3-pointers.

The Blue Devils, who have not scored 80 points in a contest since their season opener, are the lowest scoring team in the ACC at 68.4.

Miami (9-8, 2-1) defeated Maryland, 63-58, on the road on Wednesday.

Anthony Harris scored 15 points and Dwayne Collins added 14 and 12 rebounds for the Hurricanes, who shot a season-low 31.1 percent but grabbed a season-high 55 rebounds.

Miami held Maryland to 22.4 percent shooting (13-of-58), a season low for a Hurricanes' opponent.

Duke has won the last eight meetings between the schools, including four since the Hurricanes joined the ACC.
