North Texas defeats Cameron, 80-62
Nov 14, 2009 - 4:10 AM DENTON, Texas(AP) -- Josh White scored 19 points and George Odufwa had 24 rebounds as North Texas rolled past Cameron 80-62 Friday night.Odufwa also had 12 points, as did Richard Thomas, and Eric Tramiel added 11 for the Mean Green in its season opener. Odufwa wasn't too far away from Cameron's total of 33 rebounds for the game. North Texas finished with 50 rebounds as Cameron shot 35 percent from the field.
Jacquez Williams led Cameron with 18 points. Dernodo Eiland had 13 and Nathan Murray 10 for the Division II Aggies.
North Texas led 44-29 at the half and led by as much as 25 points in the second half. Eleven players scored for the Mean Green.
