Rice glides past Sacramento State 81-51
Nov 14, 2009 - 5:21 AM HOUSTON(AP) -- Connor Frizzelle sunk four of his five 3-point tries as part of an 18-point day as Rice easily overtook Sacramento State 81-51 on Friday.Frizzelle was 11 of 15 from the floor as Rice (1-0) kept Sacramento State (0-1) to just 18 of its 53 2-point tries.
Lucas Kuipers had 12 points for Rice and pulled down game-leading eight rebounds.
Suleiman Braimoh and Arsalan Kazemi each had 10 points for Rice.
John Dickson led scoring for Sacramento State with 14 points, including three 3-pointers.
