IOWA CITY, Iowa (Ticker) -- Wisconsin continues to rewrite the school record book with every victory.

The third-ranked Badgers can extend the program mark with their 17th consecutive win and remain undefeated in Big Ten play with Sunday's matchup against Iowa.

Off its best 21-game start since 1915-1916, Wisconsin is unbeaten since a 66-64 loss to Missouri State on November 24. The Badgers have the nation's longest-active winning streak and are 6-0 in conference play for the first time since 1913-1914.

Wisconsin is coming off Wednesday's 71-58 victory over Michigan. Brian Butch and Big Ten Preseason Player of the Year Alando Tucker scored 16 points each for the Badgers, who shot 54 percent (26-of-48) from the floor.

Iowa, which is 3-3 in the Big Ten, has won its last 12 conference home games dating to February 19, 2005, against Illinois, and is two wins shy of the school record.

The Hawkeyes won for the 28th time in their last 29 home games overall with Wednesday's 79-63 triumph over Penn State. Adam Haluska scored 24 points and Tyler Smith added 19 for Iowa, which limited the Nittany Lions to 35 percent (21-of-60) shooting.

Wisconsin won six consecutive encounters against Iowa before the Hawkeyes posted a 59-44 victory in the regular-season finale March 4.
