Feb 8, 2007 - 4:37 PM No. 11 Nevada (21-2) at Fresno St (16-7) 10:00 pm EST

FRESNO, California (Ticker) -- Nick Fazekas and No. 11 Nevada look to continue distancing themselves from the rest of the Western Athletic Conference when they visit Fresno State on Thursday.

The Wolf Pack are coming off 69-68 home win over Hawaii on Saturday.

Marcelus Kemp scored 23 points on 7-of-12 shooting and Fazekas had 21 and 10 rebounds for Nevada (21-2, 9-1 WAC), which achieved its highest ranking in school history this week.

Alone atop the WAC, Nevada has won its last four games and 14 of its last 15 contests. The Wolf Pack also have won 13 of their last 14 regular-season road games, posting a 7-1 road record this season.

Nevada beat Fresno State, 85-75, on January 18 in Reno in the first meeting between the schools this season.

Kemp scored 15 of his 22 points in the second half and Fazekas, a Wooden Award candidate, had 20 points and 10 rebounds for the Wolf Pack, who have won two straight games and eight of the last 11 vs. the Bulldogs.

Fresno State enters Thursday's game coming off a 72-70 overtime win vs. Idaho on Saturday.

Dominic McGuire scored 21 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and handed seven assists for the Bulldogs (16-7, 5-5), who have won six of their last seven at home. Quinton Hosley had 14 points and also hauled in 14 rebounds for Fresno State, which is 19-17 all-time vs. Nevada here. The Wolf Pack hold a 39-34 advantage in the series vs. the Bulldogs.
