COLUMBUS, Ohio (Ticker) -- Freshmen Mike Conley Jr. and Greg Oden have developed into a terrific 1-2 punch for Ohio State.

The third-ranked Buckeyes can extend their homecourt winning streak to 23 games when they face Purdue in a Big Ten Conference matchup.

Conley scored a season-high 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting to lead Ohio State (21-3, 9-1 Big Ten) to a 76-63 win over Michigan on Tuesday. He is the team leader in steals (57) and moved into seventh place in school history for assists in a season (153).

Oden, who tops the squad in scoring (15.4) and blocked shots (63), scored 17 points with seven blocks as the Buckeyes registered a season-high 13, two shy of a school record set on February 23, 1980.

Ohio State has won 47 of its last 50 home games and is tied with Wisconsin for first place in the Big Ten.

Looking for their first 17-win campaign in three seasons, the Boilermakers (16-8, 5-5) have won three of their last four outings and are four games back in conference play.

Purdue is coming off its best defensive effort of the campaign in Wednesday's 62-38 win over Michigan State. David Teague and Carl Landry scored 20 points apiece for the Boilermakers, who held the Spartans to 12 points in the second half.

The Buckeyes have won the last six encounters against Purdue, including a 78-60 victory on January 31. Conley scored 18 points and Jamar Butler added 16 for Ohio State.
