Texas, Oklahoma St stage rematch

Feb 12, 2007 - 7:42 PM No. 20 Oklahoma St (19-5) at Texas (17-7) 9:00 pm EST

AUSTIN, Texas (Ticker) -- It will be hard for Oklahoma State and Texas to top their last meeting.

No. 20 Oklahoma State posted a 105-103 triple overtime triumph over the Longhorns on January 16. Mario Boggan collected 37 points and 20 rebounds - both career highs - and nailed a go-ahead 3-pointer with 3.2 seconds left in the third extra period.

Boggan was nearly as good in another thrilling game on Saturday, collecting 35 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Cowboys to a 93-91 double-overtime victory over Texas Tech.

It has been a struggle of late for Oklahoma State (19-5, 5-4 Big 12), which is 4-4 after opening the season 15-1. However, all four losses came on the road. The Cowboys are 14-0 on their home floor.

Texas defeated Iowa State, 77-68, on Saturday. D.J. Augustin scored a season-high 31 points to make up for a rare off night by fellow freshman Kevin Durant, who finished with 17 points on 6-of-16 shooting. Durant leads the Big 12, averaging 25.1 points and 11.4 rebounds.

The Longhorns (17-7, 7-3) have won 10 of their last 12 games against the Cowboys at home.
