No. 18 Kentucky looks to complete sweep of Tennessee

Feb 13, 2007 - 3:29 PM No. 18 Kentucky (18-5) at Tennessee (17-8) 7:00 pm EST

KNOXVILLE, Tennessee (Ticker) -- Kentucky looks to complete a sweep of the season series from Tennessee when the Southeastern Conference rivals meet on Tuesday.

The Wildcats rolled to a 76-57 victory over Tennessee in Lexington on January 28. Ramel Bradley scored 21 points and freshman Jodie Meeks added 16.

Kentucky (18-5, 7-3 SEC) is coming off a tough loss last Saturday at home against top-ranked Florida. Bradley missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer that would have sent the game into overtime after hitting two consecutive shots from the arc to trim a nine-point deficit to three.

Bradley has become the go-to guy for the Wildcats, scoring over 20 points in each of the last four games.

Tennessee (17-8, 5-5 SEC) has won its last two games to reach .500 in SEC play.

Leading scorer Chris Lofton scored 16 points in an 84-57 victory over Vanderbilt last Saturday. Lofton is rounding back into shape after missing four games at the start of conference play with an ankle injury.

Kentucky is in second place in the SEC East, three games behind first place Florida.
