Texas A&M looks for revenge vs. Texas Tech

Feb 13, 2007 - 3:34 PM Texas Tech (15-10) at No. 6 Texas A&M (21-3) 7:00 pm EST

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (Ticker) -- Texas A&M's last loss was at Texas Tech on January 24. Since then, the sixth-ranked Aggies have won five in a row.

Texas A&M (21-3, 9-1 Big 12) seeks to avenge that loss when it hosts the Red Raiders on Tuesday.

Texas Tech (15-10, 4-6) appeared to be a lock for the NCAA Tournament before losing five in a row. Last Saturday, the Red Raiders fell in double overtime to Oklahoma State, 93-91.

Texas A&M is led by star guard Acie Law IV, who is averaging 18.6 points in Big 12 conference play, and Josh Carter, who scored 26 points in last Saturday's win over Nebraska.

Texas Tech counters with its own formidable backcourt duo of Jarrius Jackson and Martin Zeno. Zeno had 22 points in the Red Raiders' 70-68 win over the Aggies.
