Postponed Big Ten game to be played Thursday

Feb 15, 2007 - 2:46 PM No. 19 Indiana (17-6) at Purdue (16-9) 7:00 pm EST

WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana (Ticker) -- A winter storm caused 19th-ranked Indiana and Purdue to push back their scheduled Big Ten Conference game from Wednesday to Thursday.

Indiana (17-6, 7-3) has won the last five games in the series, including an 85-58 victory at Bloomington last month.

A.J. Ratliff was among four Hoosiers in double figures with 16 points. D.J. White matched a career-high with five blocks and Joey Shaw came off the bench to score 19 on 6-of-6 shooting.

It was the most lopsided victory in the series since January 28, 1992, when Indiana trounced the Boilermakers, 106-65.

Indiana moved up fives spots in the ESPN/USA Today coaches poll following a victory at home against Illinois on Saturday. The Hoosiers held Illinois without a basket in the final 5:22 and scored the last seven points of the game.

Purdue (16-9, 5-6 Big Ten) is coming off a 63-56 loss at second-ranked Ohio State on Saturday.

David Teague led the Boilermakers with 17 points and Carl Landry added 13.
