Wisconsin looks for fifth straight win

MADISON, Wisconsin (Ticker) -- Wisconsin will try to keep pace with Ohio State atop the Big Ten Conference and earn a fifth straight win Saturday against Penn State.

The two teams will be meeting for the second time in 10 days. The first meeting went Wisconsin's way in a 71-58 victory at Penn State.

Alando Tucker scored a game-high 24 points and Kammron Taylor and Michael Flowers added 13 and 12, respectively, as the Badgers used a 12-6 run in the second half to pull away from the Nittany Lions.

Jamelle Cornley scored 20 points to lead Penn State.

Wisconsin (25-2, 11-1 Big 10) posted a 75-62 win their last time out against Minnesota. The win was the 25th on the season for the Badgers, tying the school's regular season wins record.

Tucker, a Wooden Award candidate, continued his stellar play with 29 points and 9 rebounds.

Penn State (10-14, 1-10) suffered its 10th straight loss Wednesday night against No. 2 Ohio State. The Nittany Lions had the ball with a chance to win at the end but Mike Walker missed a 3-pointer at the buzzer.

Penn State came back from a 21-point half time deficit behind 19 points and 10 boards from guard Geary Claxton.
