Mario Boggan leads Oklahoma State against Missouri
Feb 17, 2007 - 3:32 PM Missouri (15-9) at No. 20 Oklahoma St (19-6) 1:30 pm ESTSTILLWATER, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Senior forward Mario Boggan has been the bright spot for first-year coach Sean Sutton's crew during a recent rough patch in the schedule.
Oklahoma State (19-6, 5-5 Big 12) has fallen on tough times recently, losing three of their last four after beginning the season 18-3.
The road has been the achilles heel for the Cowboys as they have yet to win away form home in the Big 12. Luckily for the Cowboys, Missouri comes into Stillwater Saturday.
This will be the lone meeting this season between the Big 12 schools because of the unbalanced conference schedule.
The Cowboys were blown out in their last game by Texas, 83-54. Super-freshman Kevin Durant notched 21 points and 12 rebounds to lead the Longhorns. Boggan led Oklahoma State with 16 points.
Missouri (15-9, 4-7) is coming off a 78-71 win over Baylor on Wednesday. Stefhon Hannah led the Tigers with 25 points and freshman guard Keon Lawrence added a career high 24.
Oklahoma State could use a win over the Tigers because their next three games are against Big 12 power Texas A&M, at Texas Tech and home against Kansas State.
