Acie Law IV leads the Aggies into Norman

NORMAN, Oklahoma (Ticker) -- Senior point guard Acie Law IV has led Texas A&M to the top of the Big 12 this season. He will try to keep the sixth-ranked Aggies there on Saturday against Oklahoma.

The first meeting between the teams this season was a 70-61 Texas A&M (21-4, 9-2 Big 12) home victory. Acie Law IV scored 12 points in the last four minutes to finish with 19 and pull out the win.

The Sooners (15-9, 6-5) led at the half, 29-28, but could not contain the Aggies down the stretch. Nate Carter led Oklahoma with 19 points in the loss.

Texas A&M had a five-game winning streak snapped its last time out as Texas Tech point Guard Jarrius Jackson nailed a jumper at the buzzer to give the Red Raiders a 77-75 victory in College Station.

Texas Tech backcourt mates Jackson and Martin Zeno combined to torch the Aggies for 50 points.

Oklahoma had its own four-game win streak snapped by Iowa State, 58-51, on Tuesday. The Sooners could not overcome a 32-17 first half deficit despite 20 points and 12 rebounds from Longar Longar.
